The Ocean Bottle is the most innovative eco alternative to single-use plastic bottles on the market. Created to not only be the best bottle for the end-user but also to create a solution to STOP the flow of plastic into our oceans. The plastic which is used on the outside of the bottle is 100% recycled plastic and upcycled plastic which was saved from our oceans.
The plastic used has been rescued from the ocean which offsets 18kg of carbon dioxide. It’s designed to be as eco-friendly as possible while still retaining the same level of quality.
It’s so easy to open and clean out which enhances its reusability. As it’s an insulated bottle it has a tough, air-tight seal which is amazing for both locking in both heat and cold so your drink always stays at the perfect temperature.
The creators have thought about all the design features the end-user would need, with the easy to carry loop, perfect size for drinks holders, a 180-degree twist cap lid to prevent leaks and a cup feature so you can drink like the Queen!
It’s not just the bottle that’s recycled, the packaging is recycled too. The best part about these bottles is the “Ocean Bottle fund” you get to support. For every bottle you buy, the company funds the collection of 11.4kg/25lbs of plastics (or 1000 plastic bottles). While most of the funding goes to collectors working on clearing up ocean plastic while 30% of the funding is donated to building up plastic collection infrastructure.
Designed by the award-winning design firm K8 from Norway. The bottles are made in Shanghai via a factory that went through a rigorous vetting process and who are currently applying to be one of the only 4 manufacturers of reusable goods to get B Corp Status.
