Binchotan charcoal water filter makes your water taste great by reducing chlorine, mineralising the water and balancing the ph. The water filter lasts for 6 months and has many different uses after this. Binchotan Active Charcoal is made from a natural sustainable hardwood oak. Recharge the charcoal after 3 months of usage; boil in water for 10 minutes and then leave to dry in the sunlight.

After 3 months of use, you can recharge it by boiling it in water for ten minutes and then leaving to dry in the sunlight.

The natural water filter can be composted at the end of its life, it will add nutrients to the soil that will help the plant to grow. Because of its porous surface, it can be used as a deodoriser to remove unwanted odours around the home such as in shoes or a laundry basket. Binchotan is also an effective moisture absorbent and can help absorb humidity in the air if placed in a wardrobe.
